Ingredients:
3 cups white flour
2 ½ tsp yeast
1 ¼ cups warm water
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp oil
250 gm chicken
1 tsp salt
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 pinch turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp chat masala
1 small onion
5 tbsp pizza sauce
Method:Take small bowl, whisk together warm water and yeast, and set aside. The mixture should start to foam after a few minutes. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt and Stir well, then add the water/yeast mixture and oil. Stir until it becomes a dough. Knead the dough for several minutes. Form the dough into a ball, drizzle a little oil on top, and cover the bowl with a clean dish towel. Set aside the dough rise for 2-3 hours.
When the dough becomes rise, punch down the dough. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180° or according to your oven. Chop the onion and any veggies you plan to add. Marinate the chicken with yogurt, salt, red pepper, chat masala, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin seeds powder, and lemon juice. Set aside the boneless chicken for 1 hour.
Sprinkle a few tablespoons of whole wheat flour on a clean counter top, then flatten dough balls onto it. Use a roller to gently roll the dough into a circle. Use your fingers to shape the edges into a slight crust. You can also lift up the dough by the crusts and gently turn it to help the dough stretch evenly. Take a non stick pan and cook the chicken for 15mins at low flame.
Once the dough is shaped into a crust, place it on the pizza pan.
Rub about 2 teaspoons of oil onto the surface of the crust. Spread pizza sauce
and top with chicken or any meat and veggies then sprinkle some cheese. Bake
the pizza for 20-25 minutes until pizza becomes brown, and cheese is bubbling.
Slice and serve hot!
