Pakory
Pakora is a spicy fried item. It is a more famous fried item in Pakistan. It originated in India. It is rich in fibre and have low calories. Pakory is made of vegetables like potatoeshas, onion. In rain, most Pakistani make pakoras and enjoy the rain.
Ingredients:
Onion sliced ----- 2 medium size
Potato ---- 2 medium size
Green chili ----- 1 Tbsp.
coriander chopped ---- 2-3 Tbsp.
Baking soda ---- 2 Pinch
Baking powder ---- 2 Pinch
Cumin seeds ---- 1 Tsp
Salt ---- to taste
Coriander powder ---- 1 Tsp
Gram flour ---- 2 Cups
Water ---- as required
Cooking oil ---- for frying
Carom seeds ---- 1tsp
Method:
Take a bowl and add all the spices in it and mix it then add gram flour, mix well until it is combined. Gradually add water and mix well and make a thick batter.
Take a pan, add oil and warm it. Fry the pakora on medium flame until it becomes golden or crispy. Enjoy the pakory with green, mayo sauce, and ketchup.
