Fried Rice

Rice is the most popular cereal in Pakistan or especially in Lahore. There are many types of making rice like boiled rice, biryani, palao, fried rice, etc. The concept of fried rice started in Asian cuisine and now, in Pakistan cuisine it's famous. There are many names of fried rice in Pakistan like vegetable rice, Chinese rice, etc and as same, and there are many methods of making the fried rice. The main ingredient in fried rice which makes taste delicious is sauces. Fried rice is made of vegetables, eggs, chicken, and spices. The method of fried rice is given below. Ingredients:

Boiled rice ----- 1kg 

Potato ----- 250gm

Carrots ----- 250gm

Cabbage ----- 1 cup 

Capsicum ----- 250gm

Egg ----- 5 

Boneless Chicken ----- 250gm

Peas ----- 250gm

Soya sauce ----- 5tbsp

Chili sauce ----- 5tbsp

White vinegar ----- 5tbsp

Salt ----- as taste

Black pepper ----- 1tbsp

Green chili ----- 1tbsp

Water ----- for boil

Oil ----- 1 cup

Method: 

cut the vegetable in this form

Cut the vegetables in a slice (stick form). 

Boil the eggs and chicken and cut them into small pieces.

Take a cooking pot, add water, and salt in it. Turn the flame on.

When the water becomes starts boiling, add rice in it and cook for 5mins.

Keep aside the rice.

Take a pan, add oil in it, and warm.

When the oil becomes warm, add the cut vegetables in it and cook for 5 mins. 

When the vegetables become fried, add the soya sauce, chili sauce, vinegar, green chili paste, salt, black pepper, and 1 cup of water and cook it for 5mins. 

The vegetables become soft then add the boiled rice, mix it gently and cook for 5 mins at low flame. 


The delicious fried rice is ready for serve. Enjoy it with raita.
