Chany ki Dal
Ingredients:
Chany ki Dal ----- 500 gm
Chicken ----- 250 gm
Red pepper ----- 1 tbsp
Salt ----- as taste
Coriander powder ----- 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder ----- half tsp
Cumin seeds powder ----- 1 tsp
Black pepper ----- 1 tsp
Green chili ----- 1
Oil ----- half cup
Water ----- as required
Garlic ----- 1 flower
Onion ----- 1 large
Tomatoes ----- 1 large
Method:
Take a pressure cooker and add onion, garlic, tomatoes, salt, red pepper, turmeric powder, coriander powder, green chili, and water. Cover the pressure cooker for 5mins. After 5 mins, open the pressure cooker and cook for 5 mins. Then add chicken and cook for 5mins. Add oil, cumin seeds, and black pepper in it, and cook for 5 mins. Oil is separated from the gravy then pour the oil in a cup for garnish. Add 2 litre of water and pulse in it. Cover the pressure cooker for 30mins. After 30 mins, cook it for 5 mins. The delicious dal is ready for serving. Garnish it with oil and coriander leaves. Enjoy it with boiled rice.
Boiled Rice
Ingredients:
Rice ----- 1 glass
Water ----- 2 jug
Method:
Take a pot and add 2 jugs of water to it. Turn the flame on and bring it to a boil then add 2 hours soaked rice in it. Cook it for 5mins at medium flame. Check the rice and drain off the water. Add 2 tbsp of oil in it. Enjoy it with dal or sugar as you like.
