Crispy Lacha Pakora

Lacha pakora is a very tasty and ramzan special recipe in Pakistan. The main ingredient of lacha pakora is onions. Must try this lacha pakora recipe in ramzan. Enjoy it in iftari. It is the most delicious snack in the Indian subcontinent. In Pakistan, it is also most famous snack which Pakistanis make in rainy weather, Ramzan.

Ingredients:

Gram flour (besan) ----- 3 cup 

Onion ----- 2 onion (large)

Potatoes ----- 2 (medium) 

Salt ----- as required

Red pepper ------ 1 tbsp 

Carrom seeds ----- 1 tsp 

Cumin seeds ----- 1 tsp 

Baking powder ----- 1 tsp

Baking soda ----- half tsp

Turmeric powder ------ 1 tsp 

Coriander powder ----- 1 tsp 

White flour ----- 1 cup

Kasuri methi ----- 2 tbsp 

Water ----- half cup 

Oil ----- for frying 

Coriander leaves ----- 1 bunch 

Method: 

Mixture should be like this not thin

Take a bowl and add white flour, gram flour, salt, red pepper, turmeric powder, coriander powder, kasuri methi, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, carrom seeds, chopped potatoes, baking powder, baking soda, and chopped onions. Mix it thoroughly without adding water. After mixing, then add water in a few drops and mix thoroughly. The mixture becomes thick. It will not be too much thin. The mixture shows more onion and potatoes other than the gram flour or water. Take a frying pan, and add oil to it. When the oil becomes warm then add a small ball size mixture of pakoras. Fry it until it becomes golden. 

The delicious lacha pakora is ready for serving. Enjoy it with ketchup and sauce.
