Fish Gravy
In winter, fish is the most eaten food in Pakistan. There are many ways of making fish. I already share the fish masala recipes which we can use and make the fish fry. Today, i am sharing my own fish gravy recipe with you, I hope you must try it and give a review in the comments.
Ingredients:
Fish (rahu) ----- 1 kg
Onions ----- 8 to 9 flower
Yogurt ----- half kg
Salt ----- as taste
Red chili ----- 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder ----- 1/4th tsp
Coriander powder ----- 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds powder ----- 1 tsp
Carrom seeds powder ----- 1 tsp
Qourma masala ----- 1 tsp (optional)
Oil ----- 2 cup
Water ----- half cup
Method:
Take a nonstick pot, and add oil. Turn the flame on. When the oil becomes warm, add onions in it and fry for 2 to 3 mins. Then add half a cup of water. (water is added in this stage so that onions do not turn golden) Add all the spices like salt, red chilli, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin seeds powder, qourma masala, and carrom seeds powder. Cook for 5mins, onions become softened and mixed, then add yogurt and then fish. The fish becomes tender in the yogurt water. There is no need of adding water. Mix the fish in the masala and cover the pot with a lid for 5mins at low flame. After 5 mins, check the fish if the fish becomes tender and the yogurt water becomes dry then there is no need for more cooking. If the water does not become dry then you cook for 2 to 3mins at high flame. The delicious fish Gravy or curry is ready for serving. Enjoy it with raita, sauces, or Nan.
Fried Fish
Ingredients:
Fish (boneless) ----- 1 kg
Fish masala ----- 5 tbsp or as required
Lemon juice ----- 3 tbsp
Yogurt ----- half cup
Oil ----- for fry
Method:
Take a bowl, and add yogurt, lemon juice, and fish masala. Mix them thoroughly. The fish masala recipe is already on the page I will share the link below. Take one by one slice of fish and dip it in the masala 2 times and place in a separate dish. In the same way, dip all the pieces of fish and place them in a dish, and freeze them in a freezer. When you want to eat fry them. Take a pan, and add oil to it. Turn the flame on, and when the oil becomes warm add the fish slices. Cook each side of the fish slice for approximately 5 mins at low flame. The delicious fried fish is ready for serving. Enjoy it with nan, and sauces.
