Carrots
Carrots are called root vegetables. Carrots are nutritious. They are packed with soo many nutrients like potassium, vitamin A, carotenoids, and carotenes. They are highly packed with fibers. They are low in calories and fats. They are the main source of vitamins and minerals. There are many recipes for carrots. Carrots are antioxidants. They are eaten in raw or cooked form too.

Gajar ka Halwa
Carrots halwa is good for health. It is healthy for children as well as old age people. Carrots halwa is a carrot-based especially sweet dish that is famous in Pakistan, especially in winter it is high in calories and it is enough for our breakfast. Children can take halwa with milk daily for breakfast then they become healthy and their height increases in a few days.
Ingredients:
Carrots ----- 2kg
Milk ----- 4kg
Curd (khoya) ----- 500gm
Sugar ----- 1 pao
Cardamom ----- 3
Dry fruits ----- 1 small bowl (almond, pistachio, cashew)
Oil (desi ghee) ----- 1 cup
Method:
Grate the all carrots. Take a pan and add oil, when the oil becomes melted then add cardamom and grated carrots in it. Fry the carrots until the water in the carrots becomes dry. Keep stirring continuously. When the water becomes dry then add milk to it. When the milk becomes dry and carrots are mixed with it frequently, add sugar. Keep stirring continuously until the sugar syrup becomes dry. Finally, when the sugar syrup is dry, add the remaining oil and cook for 5mins. Add the dry fruits and curd (khoya) in it. The carrots halwa is ready for serving in a serving dish garnish it with some dry fruits and cardamom. Enjoy it with tea.
